ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Sophomores Brynley Hodge and Elizabeth Barger amassed totals of six and five goals respectively, propelling St. Francis to a 17-0 shutout of Woodcreek in Delta League girls' lacrosse action Wednesday night. The nightcap followed a 14-1 win for the Troubadours' junior varsity, thanks to six goals from Zia Smith.
Both St. Francis squads improve to 3-1 for the year.

Barger's goals are her first for the year, and supplemented a pair of draw controls. Freshman Karly Okamoto tallied five assists, while Claire Westberg chipped in two goals and three dimes.
Senior midfielder Zahra Smith enjoyed an all-around strong night in the hustle stats: three draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers. On the defensive end, senior goalkeeper Bella McCullough had four total saves.
Okamoto, Zahra Smith, Lauren Wieser and Abby Alvernaz each netted a goal to round out the varsity scoring in the nightcap.
In Wednesday's early game, Zia Smith's double hat trick surpassed her previous high of five, set in the Troubadours' previous meeting with Woodcreek.
