EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. – Senior Erica Jaffe led a 1-2 Troubadour exacta in the 200-yard individual medley, adding a second individual win in the 100 backstroke, and led off winning 200 medley and freestyle relays to pace St. Francis at the third of three Sierra Foothill League double dual meets, hosted by Oak Ridge at El Dorado Hills CSD Pool.

The meet officials did not actually score the meet, but GoTroubies.com staff calculated SF's head-to-head scoring as follows: Troubies over Granite Bay, 98-85; and Troubies over Oak Ridge, 98-88. This includes the 1-meter diving held on Wednesday, also at the EDH pool.

In fact, without the diving scores, St. Francis and Granite Bay would have tied, 85-85. However, a 2-3-4-5 overall finish for SF and no Grizzly entrants resulted in the Troubadours taking the maximum 13-0 score on the board. As for the Oak Ridge matchup, the Trojans had Wednesday's overall winner, but the depth of the diving roster actually gave SF a 9-7 edge in that event.

Jaffe swam the IM in two minutes, 14.19 seconds; with senior Marissa Recio about two seconds behind at 2:16.15. Jaffe also posted the lone sub-minute time in the 100 back at 59.45. Additionally, the UCLA swimming commit led off the medley relay of Mia Hill, Recio and Lilla Kapinya to a total of 1:53.63. That also featured a 1-2 overall finish, with Riley Wood, Landen Didriksen, Lillian Damrell and Madeline Kann compiling a 1:59.74

Finally, Jaffe swam the first leg of the 200 free relay, joining Hill, Isabella Schmid and Lilla Kapinya for a 1:41.29, beating Oak Ridge's 'A' squad by almost two full seconds. Kapinya, for her part, captured an overall first-place finish in the 100 butterfly at 1:00.33.

Although unofficial, Thursday's two team wins complete a 5-1 overall season in the three dual meets, along with victories over Rocklin and Del Oro and a March 20 loss to Davis. The head-to-head matchups and the overall team scoring at the league championship meet determines the overall SFL standings for the season.

St. Francis swimming takes almost two full weeks off from competition, returning to action for the league championship meet. The girls' trials take place on April 24, with the boys' and girls' finals running on Saturday. Both sessions are hosted by Granite Bay. This is the first season the Troubadours compete in the SFL after previous memberships in the Delta League, Delta River League and Metro League.
