Unbeaten JV Red soccer wins Buff Cup

MANTECA, Calif. - The St. Francis High JV Red soccer team blanked Central Valley, 2-0, to claim the first-place hardware at the 13th-annual Junior Varsity Buff Cup prep girls' soccer tournament at Manteca High Saturday.

Giuliana Del Guerra and Kate Stallings scored the goals for the Troubies.

Meanwhile, the JV Gold defeated Bishop O'Dowd, 8-0, and will advance to the title game of the Varsity Buff Cup against the host Buffs at 3 p.m. Saturday.
