Allie Belafsky is in her second season with the varsity lacrosse team after scoring three goals in nine games as a sophomore. She has also played water polo for three seasons for the Troubadours, helping the team reach NorCals and play in the section finals. She loves to ski and hike in her free time.
What you looking forward to about the season?
"I am looking forward to coming together as a team and really developing. I want everyone to develop and (we can) beat those hard teams. It would be awesome to beat teams like Davis, Granite Bay and Oak Ridge. We have to work really hard for that. It is a goal."
Do you feel more responsibility for team leadership as an upperclassman?
"I do for sure. With only three seniors on the team, the juniors are stepping up. We are a pretty young team with a lot of sophomores and juniors."
You bring a lot of energy to the field. What is behind that?
"I really think it is important to inspire my teammates to push themselves. If they are really tired and want to give up, I want to be the voice in their head that they can do it. I think it is important to bring up the intensity and effort of my teammates and team in general. Everyone plays better when they feel inspired."
What is the key to being successful playing sports both semesters?
"It is definitely prioritizing school work and utilizing the free blocks to get everything done. It is important to not procrastinate."
What is your favorite sport?
"They are very different but I like them both."
What is fun fact about Allie?
"I want to be a pilot. I think I am going to take some lessons to get my license on my own. Then fly for smaller companies and work my way up."

What animal best represents you: Shark.
Greatest Achievement: Recovering after my ACL (8th grade).
If you could have one super power, what would it be: To Fly.
