Isabella Quiniola is in her first season on the varsity team and third year in the program. She started dribbling a basketball when she was four years old and has played the game ever since. She babysits in her spare time and has two older sisters that attended St. Francis, Victoria '13 and Natalia '12.
What is your favorite thing about playing basketball?
"I have a lot of favorite things about playing basketball. I love the game in general. To me it is a beautiful game and I love team sports. I learn so much through basketball and I am driven to play."
Do you have a favorite moment in your career?
"There have been so many moments. My favorite game so far was the JV game against Davis last year. Our team really played the St. Francis way and played together. It was a fun game."
What is your favorite thing about attending St. Francis?
"My favorite thing is the sisterhood and the community. The teachers, staff and faculty help you to grow in your faith and strive to be your better self."
Why do you wear No. 12?
"I started wearing 12 in eighth grade and my dad would say I have to score more than 12 points today. I just stuck with it."
How cool is it to follow in your family tradition of attending St. Francis?
"It is really fun because some of the teachers remember my sisters. It is fun to have that connection."
What are your goals for the season?
"My goal is to play my hardest every time I get on the court. I also want to make the season great for Janae and Julia."
