FOLSOM, Calif. – Senior Arden Han-Wei and sophomore Chloe Jun turned in matching 1-over-par 37s to lead St. Francis to a 210-230 win over Folsom in a Sierra Foothill League girls' golf dual match at Empire Ranch Golf Club Thursday. The Troubadours improve to 2-0 overall and in SFL competition.

Han-Wei and Jun were the only players on either team to finish under 40 strokes. Han-Wei fired a birdie-4 on No. 7 while Jun came in with a birdie-3 on No. 9 to finish with identical totals.

Junior Nydia Garcia carded a 6-over 42, two strokes ahead of fellow 11th-grader Momina Niazi. Freshman Riya Chima and senior Gianna Seghesio rounded out the Troubadour squad with scores of 50 and 53, respectively.

St. Francis returns to action in another road dual, this time at Granite Bay. The match was originally scheduled for Tuesday but was pushed back to a 2:50 p.m. start on Wednesday.
